I was able to take the day off from work and spend it making special birthday memories with Dylan!  I don't know who was more excited me or him.  We had a whole day of fun planned.  First, we took Colt to school, and we had a few errands to do.  Then we were at the Fort Worth science museum when they opened.  Dylan loves it there!

We played for an hour or so then we were off to meet Daddy for lunch.  Dylan was grinning ear to ear.  He is always very curious about were we work and wanting to go visit our work places!  So, we met Scott for lunch at Tommy's Hamburgers in Fort Worth,

then D spotted a toy store on Camp Bowie so we headed there to check things out!  Then we went back to the museum, it was very crowded in the morning with school kids on field trips, but when we got back they were mostly clearing out.

So we played for a bit then we headed to the Omni Theatre for Animalopolus.  It was cute!  Dylan enjoyed it!  I swear they do the same intro they did 20+ years ago when I went on field trips there....the helicoptor flying over downtown Fort Worth, it really needs to be updated, the skyline has changed so much!  But still probably my favorite part!  Then he wanted to see the Barnet Shale movie which is incredible...the seats move and the dinoaurs spit on you, you even feel the fish hitting your ankles...if you havent been to see it you really should its only about a five minute film but very interesting and fun too!  D loves it!  We will be going back regularly thanks to my sister she got us a family membership to the museum for Dylan's bday!  Thanks Michelle!!

When we were done we headed over to Bluebonnet bakery and got some cupcakes for later that night, then we were off to pick up Mr Colt!  He was so excited to see us...after, we woke him up!
